PURPAL CAP 2023 TATA IPL
If you’re referring to the “Purple Cap” in the context of the Indian Premier League (IPL), it is an award given to the leading wicket-taker in each season of the tournament. The purple-colored cap is presented to the bowler who takes the most wickets throughout the tournament.

The Purple Cap is similar to the “Orange Cap,” which is awarded to the leading run-scorer in the IPL. Both caps are prestigious individual awards that are highly sought after by players participating in the tournament .
The Purple Cap was introduced in the IPL in 2008, and since then, it has been awarded to the leading wicket-taker at the end of each season. The cap is passed on from one season to another to the player who takes the most wickets in that particular season.
